Patients

The following pages provide general information about various sleep disorder topics.

Each patient is evaluated as a unique individual with different work situations and health considerations; varying levels of daily activity and physical exercise; and personal sleep patterns and habits. A sleep problem may in fact be a combination of sleep disorders, which can vary in levels of intensity from one person to another.

The Sleep Center provides a wide-range of testing using the latest in technology. The test results are evaluated by sleep specialists to determine which treatments can best help your or your loved one’s situation.

The most common sleep test is known as an overnight sleep study.

We have a included a sleep study video on this website to educate patients on what to expect and what to bring when scheduled for a sleep study. To view the sleep study video go to http://mediaserver.wustl.edu/public/sleepcenter/sleepvideo-v3.wmv.
